Homelessness in Roanoke Region Reduced, Marks Fifth Consecutive Year of Decrease

The Blue Ridge Interagency Council on Homelessness leads an annual Point in Time count for homeless persons in the Roanoke Region. This year’s PIT count was conducted on Jan. 25 with a total count was 267, a decrease of 19.3 percent over last year (331).
