Chronic Homelessness in Roanoke Region Reduced, Marks Fifth Consecutive Year of Decrease

The 2018 Point in Time count for the region was 317, a slight increase of 18.7 percent over last year. However, people needing the most intensive services, the chronically homeless, decreased showing the focus on housing the most vulnerable first works.
